Owner’s comments:

My dad is going to be sad the day his “Puddleduck” leaves, but he is happy to know someone will be getting a great looking and terrific sailboat. He only sailed this twice on the Columbia River and it has always been in a garage. Every time he looks at that boat he gets misty eyed. He has sailed all his life but at 85 he just isn't as agile as he would like to be. He is also a wooden boat fanatic and has made several boats, but your boat was his favorite lines and easiest to sail. He served in the Coast Guard in the 50’s and think this reminds him of small boats the crew used to race when in harbors. Pretty sure if he was younger, he would be in this boat on the mighty Columbia River everyday.

The trailer is in great shape and only has about 800 miles on it and will easily make a cross country trip. Dad ensured bearings were good before he brought it home from their other home.
