“It's hard to believe that it's been sixteen years since I was smitten by the Melonseed at the Annapolis Sailboat show. I bought her thinking that even though it was difficult to find the time to sail there would be more time in the future. The future has come and gone a few times now, and I have only sailed our boat a dozen times or so and only in fresh water. She has always been kept indoors in a heated garage on a lift, up out of harm’s way. The cover has always been kept in place. The condition is as one would expect having had such an easy life. The only minor deficiencies are a few very light scratches on the bottom - evidence of being pulled up on a coarse sand beach. It includes everything that came with the boat: Cetol finish on the teak, cover, new oars (which have never even removed from the bungees!) oarlocks, cushions, ensign with staff, spar leathers etc.. The trailer is aluminum and has less than 150 miles on it. The trailer has bearing buddies.”
