I have really enjoyed my time with “WIND SHADOW”, however I’m purchasing one of Roger’s bigger boats, a 16’ Swampscott Dory, so I can accommodate a boat full of grandchildren.  I’m looking for a new loving owner for this wonderful Melonseed.

She has straight blade oars with leathers, pin striping, upgrade Cetol on the teak woodwork that has been well maintained, ensign and flagstaff, galvanized trailer, boom and sprit leathers, oarlock risers, custom teak past partner trim, custom sheet block, two extra boat cushions, and bow line. “Wind Shadow” has been buffed and waxed every spring. The boat and trailer have been garaged when the boat was not in the water.  While the boat does have some very minor scratches on the hull it is in very good condition.

When launching the boat, I have always been aware of never putting the trailer under the water, and only backing in until the rubber tires met the water’s edge to keep bearings and wheels in good condition.

About two thirds the cost of a new Melonseed, “Wind Shadow” is a bargain for a boat in this condition and the sailing pleasures it will bring a new owner.
