OWNER’S COMMENTS:
My Melonseed is Brush Creek Yacht's hull no. 6, built in 2011. The boat is in great condition and has been garage kept since I bought it from the original owner in 2016. The boat is 13' 6" in length with a beam of 4’ 5” and is constructed of Atlantic White Cedar planking over white oak steam bent frames, Cypress keel and deck beams. The hull is encapsulated with epoxy and fiberglass cloth both inside and out, and the interior is finished with a natural varnish. The hull is painted Teal blue with a white boot stripe using Awlgrip paint system. Decks are marine plywood covered with painted canvas. Floorboards are cypress with an oiled finish. The coamings, rub rails and transom are mahogany. The white Dacron sail is still crisp and in great condition. The 2011 custom fit Load Rite trailer is also in great condition with very low miles.
This boat is a pure joy to sail and draws compliments where ever she goes. I’m only looking to sell her because I don't have enough time to make use of her at the place I spend summer weekends.
